How cool are mini things? Especially when they are miniatures of our favorite foods. Artist Shay Aaron is our hero. Not only does he make the most realistic versions of food to wear out of the polymer clay, but he most recently did a Christmas collection and even included tree ornaments. Our favorite is the mini gingerbread house and I just put the mini pizza slice earrings on my wish list.

In honor of Black Friday, we thought we’d take some time to mention some cool stuff we’ve found online to give to friends and family this Christmas. We don’t like run of the mill mall stuff, so if you like the unusual and the quirky, you need to check these out. We are not affiliated with these guys, we just like their stuff and thought you might like it too.

1. Photobucket Plush toys aren’t just for the kiddies anymore. Esty Gertzman is an artist who creates toys with unusual fabrics like plush and wool. See the entire line.

2. cup and saucer Cozy up on the couch with a mug of hot cocoa this Christmas, with one of these designer mugs.
