We applaud Daniel Schipper, a dutch designer, who created this foldable greenhouse. Only a prototype now, hope it catches on and comes to the states. I’ve always wanted to grow my own tomatoes…in my downtown apt with no yard. Perfect!

No Global Warming Here. Nope.

Photographer David Burdeny’s Iceberg’s series is not only captivating, but surreal. It’s amazing how these huge icebergs have melted to resemble pebbles on the Earth’s surface. He ventured through endangered territories to capture the impact of tourism, climate change, industry and the hunt for oil. The image we chose as our favorite is: Five Icebergs, Weddell Sea, Antarctica 2007.

DIY Travel Journal Tutorial

posted by

in DIY, Travel

This is one of the best DIY projects we’ve seen. This tutorial takes you through a series of easy steps to make your very own one of a kind journal that meets your needs. A few scraps of paper, a piece of leather (or fabric), scissors, needle, thread, creative juices, and (my favorite part) fire. Have fun making your own travel journal!
