We can’t get enough of this series, this one just cracks us up. Enjoy friends!!
On the first of this month, we were happy to be a part of such a great event, the Lupus Foundation of America Walk for Lupus Now®. A dear friend of ours has struggled with Lupus for most of her life, now at the age of 29 she is doing well and is very strong. We admire her strength and energetic spirit, it super contagious! She was team captain and kindly named us The Big Macs. Why? We’re not sure but, it was perfect! Not only was being a part of this walk was so much fun and for such a great cause, but we also came away with a second place award!
We were shocked to find out so many people have Lupus, and its also shocking so many young people are struggling with this disease. We were happy to hit our goal at raising 500 dollars! If you would like to learn a little more about Lupus or want to donate, please check out the website for the walk here.

We just think this is the coolest little invention. Esslack Food Spray lets you spray color your food! What better way to make normal everyday meals into museum modern art? Now you can tag your mom’s pb&j (we won’t tell that mom still makes your lunches for work) or even fruit. The creative Germans at The Deli Garage teamed up with Korefe who illustrated the design and packaging. Nicely done! Comes in a both a silver and a gold. Turns your favorite eats from boring to blingin’! Check check it!

Warning: In German only….but its still fun to navigate your way through their website for more info here.
We can’t wait to see these guys tonight at the sold out show at the Belly Up Tavern in San Diego. Here’s a little tune to keep us groovin’ today. If you were able to get tix tonight, we’ll see ya there!
The Temper Trap – Fader
You’ve seen them. Selling at local flea markets across the globe…the Velvet Elvis. Ever seen it made with your favorite crunchy cheese snack? We hadn’t either. These guys at Eclectic Asylum created a video of their version of Elvis on velvet, its quite brilliant.
Check out their Ebay store for more of their artwork for sale here.
So, we just had to see what kind of music FrayedThreads.com would make…who knew we’d turn out to be soo jazzy? We like. Make some music here.

Wrangler’s aren’t just for them cowboys anymore. Looks like they’ve come back with some style. We just had a super fun time making these guys jump around. It’s kind of fun to make them look like they’re dancing to the catchy tune. Fun times for a dork like me. Check it out here.

We applaud Daniel Schipper, a dutch designer, who created this foldable greenhouse. Only a prototype now, hope it catches on and comes to the states. I’ve always wanted to grow my own tomatoes…in my downtown apt with no yard. Perfect!

Check it out here.
