The Summer '09 line will always hold a special significance to us, as it was our first full season line. What began as a few concept designs, inspired us to create an entire line exploring different creative avenues. And we have many avenues. Holding degrees in photography and animation/media arts, we appreciate art in all its forms. From doodles on a coffee napkin to graphic art on subways to polariod film, simplicity is what we strive for. The Summer Line was a perfect example of just that. We were in a line work phase. We wanted to create tees that didn't have a huge design or logo so our friends and family wouldn't be walking talking billboards. For example, our Dueling Banjos was born from an inside joke between our close friends that evolved into a t-shirt as a 30th birthday present. The design is simple yet expressive. Sometimes, those are the honestly the best kind. At times it is the best to leave things open to interpretation. This was the concept behind creating the line work for the Immersion The Summer 2009 tee line offered us the opportunity to incorporate some organic cotton t-shirts into the mix. We are so impressed with the durability of the organic cotton American Apparel t-shirts in a natural color, that we plan to expand our use of the organic and recycled fabrics in multicolors in our future t-shirt lines. We believe in doing our part to contribute to the growing trend of using sustainable resources. We felt Goddess was a natural fit for the organic tees for women. For the dudes out there that want a Goddess tee, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do. In talking about our favorite tee shirts, we noticed that we love creatures on tees. And what do you As we near completion of our Winter line, we know that none of it would be possible without the creative freedom that we gave ourselves for the Summer line. And of course, to you guys and gals for taking notice and supporting us. Not to mention strutting your threads with our shirts around the neighborhood. We hope you enjoyed our debut Summer 2009 line of tees as much as we had fun creating them. A much needed Thank You! - Frayed Threads
